Aristides Guarnizo Cruz is another member of the large Guarnizo
family from the municipality of Tarqui, located in central Huila. We currently work with at least six members of this multi-generational family of coffee growers, all of whom are producing exceptional quality. Aristides and his wife, Cielo, and their two kids live and farm at their Finca La Reserva in the rural township of El Líbano. La Reserva sits at 1,800 m.a.s.l. and spans a total area of four hectares, of which three are currently producing coffee. Aristides has 8,000 trees, each of the variety Colombia and of Pink Bourbon, with approximately 4,000 trees planted per hectare. Besides coffee, the family also grows Hass avocadoes.
