ABOUT THIS COFFEE
At the heart of the Brunca region in Costa Rica lies a farm with a rich tapestry of history and innovation. Employing the white honey process, the beans from this farm are masterfully treated, removing 80-90% of the mucilage, and are then sun-dried to achieve a vibrant and intricate flavor profile.This farm, with roots tracing back to 1962, was the vision of 391 pioneering small-scale farmers who dreamt of fostering community development. Today, that vision is upheld by over 8,000 dedicated members. The farm's unique combination of mountainous terrains, volcanic soil, and altitudes spanning 1,400 to 2,000 masl ensures that each coffee bean encapsulates the very essence of its environment. The result is a coffee that resonates with a sweet and dense flavor, a testament to the land's bounty and the meticulous care in cultivation.
