Without going full coffee nerd on you, all of our coffee is rated at a cup score of 80 or more. This score is out of 100 and essentially determines the quality of the coffee. It is a great guide when buying coffee to give you a general indication that what you are buying is of high quality. Think of it like buying a solid wine to drink instead of a $6 bottle to use in a ragu. On top of this, our coffee has been rigorously tested by our team who have been in the industry for 20+ years between them. So they have been around the coffee block so to speak. 

Yes they sure are! Our capsules are fully biodegradable & compostable. 

Our capsules are sourced from Biocap. These particular capsules are made of a bioplastic (Terrablend), which is made of renewable raw materials. The biocapsule is certified as OK COMPOST AS4736 (Australian Standard) by TÜV Austria/ Vincotte.

Biocaps are produced using energy generated from wind, sun, hydropower and biogas. 

Our capsules have been hermetically sealed meaning they are completely oxygen free and air tight. This means our compostable capsules have a shelf life of 18 months.  However, to achieve the best results out of your capsules we recommend consuming for up to 12 months. 

Our capsules are most compatible on the Nespresso classic machine models and The Opal one capsule machine.

We want everyone to get the best coffee possible so follow these simple few steps to get the best out of your compostable capsule. 

1. Always ensure you have added cold/room temperature filtered water to your water tank.
2. Before pulling your espresso shot, purge your machine 1-3 times (Press your single shot button without a capsule in your machine to flush hot water through). This assists with ensuring there is no dirty coffee water built up, heats your cup and brings your machine up to optimum brewing temperature.
3. Give your capsule a quick shake and proceed to insert your capsule into the brewing chamber.
4. Brew your capsule and enjoy.
