A truly unique coffee! Our first ever Natural processed Kenyan, a very new approach to kenyan coffee. Maguta Estate works across Nyeri and Embu Countries in Central Kenya. Composed of a network of farms and farmer groups throughout the countries, they seek to empower the local communities by improving the quality of the coffees they produce, as well as the methods used in cultivation and processing.

They are committed to improving the livelihoods of the local community in each region, through restoration and improvement of farming and processing practices to facilitate higher income for producers.

Working closely with Project Origin, Maguta has implemented this natural process method as well as carbonic maceration methods at the Nyeri and Embu farms.


Offshoot Coffee was established in 2018 – our roasting philosophy is simple – to source some of the most exclusive and unique coffees, and roast them with great attention to detail. To achieve the most consistent results and a clean cup, our roaster of choice is a Loring S15 Falcon Smart Roaster. The Loring uses hot air as a form of heat transfer, which allows for great consistency. The hot air energy is then recycled to reduce the CO2 emissions by up to 80% relative to other traditional roasting systems.
